KELSEY SILVEIRA - PRESIDENT
We joined MAC in 2023 and currently have two girls, Mila (8) and Olivia (6), who swim on MAC. My family quickly fell in love with the warm welcoming MAC provided and the amazing coaching staff who make the practices fun and engaging. I grew up in The Woodlands (swimming with Shana, Shane & Mike) and swam at The University of Texas from 09-13. I competed at Olympic Trials in 2012 and have been able to witness firsthand all of the amazing opportunities swimming can provide. My husband and I have 4 children, Mila (8), Olivia (6), Jon (2) and Margot and look forward to many years ahead as part of the MAC community!

MARICAR WONG - VICE PRESIDENT
Starting their 3rd year at Magnolia Aquatic Club, the Wong family is so excited in the momentum of positive changes to the club.  Maricar is honored and grateful to take a role in fulfilling the VISION set forth in reaching excellence for all MAC swimmers and coaches. Her pride, joy, and life are Bella, 14yrs old with the National Elite, and David, 12yrs old with the Maroon Elite. She is married to Tai Wong, her husband of 24yrs and the MAC Team photographer.  For over twenty years, Maricar dedicated her working career as a Research Scientist, primarily in molecular biology and protein biochemistry. After a tireless pandemic era of developing and purifying antibodies for COVID kits at Bethyl Laboratories in Montgomery, Texas, Maricar decided to focus on her kids’ needs at home, school, and swimming.  At swim meets, the Wong family is always LOUD and MAC PROUD!

LOU ANN PETZOLD - TREASURER
I am the mama of Nikolas (15), Hannes (13) and Liana (10) Petzold. My husband, Franz, and I moved to The Woodlands area with our family about five years ago. Before relocating to Texas, we lived in Louisville, KY, where our boys began their swim careers in the neighborhood pool on the summer swim team when they were 7 and 5 years old. They loved it so much we began year-round swimming with Cardinal Aquatics. We are now entering our 8th swim season.

I am a CPA currenting working as the controller / chief accounting officer of a mid-sized real estate investment company. Previously, I was a public company auditor at one of the Big Four accounting firms. I have lots of experience with budgets and board meeting minutes. On many weekends, I am also an official at whatever swim meet my boys are signed up to swim! It is a lot of time commitment, but it is necessary so that our kids can have the opportunity to compete in sanctioned USA Swimming meets. I enjoy contributing to the efforts of so many volunteers to see that we run smooth and efficient meets. Swimming is a great life-long sport, and I’m proud to be a part of the swim family at MAC!

KELSEY MCFARLIN - SECRETARY
I live in Magnolia with my husband, Nicholas, and our 3 amazing boys – Evan (14), Keyan (12), and Beck (8). I’ve had the privilege to live and work in many different places – ND, MN, SD, WY, Alberta (Canada), CO, West Texas and finally the Houston area (2023).  Swimming safety became a necessity when we moved South and had easy access to pools. September 2020 is when our swim journey began; where the “bros” all swam for COM in Midland, TX.  Magnolia Aquatic Club is now home, and I look forward to helping the team as a MAC Booster Club representative!

NATALIE CLARKE - AT-LARGE MEMBER
I am a first grade teacher at Ellisor Elementary in Magnolia. I have three kiddos, Dakota, Ace and Chloe. Chloe is the swimmer of our crew. My husband and I moved to Montgomery a little over a year ago. Although we’ve moved many times over the past 20 years, Montgomery has been our favorite. The people, area, schools and athletic programs for our children are second to none and we’re grateful we get to call this place home. Our Chloe has been a part of the swim world for 4 years now. I am excited for the opportunity to serve our swim team and be the voice for our swimmers and families.
